I always believed in the existence of stupid questions; however, during my time in grad school at California College of the Arts, I learned that even the dumbest questions can still have brilliant answers. This belief inspired me to focus my career on the user’s experience and strive to help make technology more approachable.
Fueled by my sense of humor and sugary candy, I’ve spent the last 15 years using my systems thinking and creativity to solve gnarly problems in the enterprise space, from enabling prompt engineering to blockchain concert ticketing to insurance management.
My love of visual and interaction design goes far beyond my professional and academic pursuits. It manifests in my love of ridiculous iPhone and iPad games, which are currently focused on Outlanders2, and in color and pattern explorations, using my outfits as test subjects. I see everyday activities as spaces to explore, from the most efficient way to set up my workspace to how to weave seamlessly through the grocery store. I enjoy the challenges that design invites me to experience and the beauty it allows me to share with others. Rooted in my passion for creativity and driven by pragmatism, I am one part artist, one part mad scientist, and all parts innovative adventurer.
